Taakulo Somaliland Community (TSC)
Taakulo Somaliland Community (TSC) is a non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2005. TSC is dedicated to the empowerment of disadvantaged people throughout Somaliland by carrying out relief and participatory development programs emphasizing human dignity and self-reliance.
TSC had previously been established for assisting affected areas in Somaliland where a great of suffering prevailed due to the persistent occurrence of famine and drought.
TSC has provided relief supplies to many areas in Somaliland by providing hospital equipments, wheel chairs and other orthopedic devices and exercise apparatus to Somaliland disability groups.
We have also assisted Orphans by providing sponsorship program and bursaries to enable children to go to school.

Every child has a right to their childhood – a hopeful existence free of exploitation, violence, neglect, and extreme poverty. Children need education, health services, consistent support systems as well as love, hope and encouragement; all these things and more are required in order to experience childhood to the fullest, and to eventually develop into healthy, and capable adults.
Equally TSC emphasis and believes the same principles and goals.
TSC involves and implements water, sanitation and hygiene projects in the schools and drought affected areas. We also Build and implement Water reservoirs and boreholes in the remote areas. In addition to that we build Education projects (building schools with community participations) and environment conservation.
TSC participates and empowers democratization process. TSC members had participated as International election observers in many parts of the world, such as Republic of South Africa, Republic of Kenya and Finland. TSC Board members have also participated number of workshops and seminars on democratization process in Kenya, Ethiopia and Finland sponsored by International Republican Institute (IRI), British Embassy in Addis Ababa and International Solidarity Foundation (ISF) respectively.
TSC implements its programs through its field offices at the Somaliland regions. TSC works and collaborates with international partners. It co-operates with more than five INGOs from Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe by providing relief aid and humanitarian development programs to the people in need in Somaliland.
